Warden Information
Warden Message
March 29, 2006
Attention all American citizens:
This Warden Message is issued to encourage American citizens to avoid Jomo Kenyatta Road and the area surrounding the Special Court when possible and to stay tuned to the radio as events unfold. International media reports that former Liberian president Charles Taylor was apprehended in Nigeria, departed that country by air earlier today, and is en route to Monrovia. His transfer to the Special Court for Sierra Leone may be imminent, as he has been indicted on 17 counts of alleged war crimes.
