A Warden Message from the U.S. Embassy, Freetown (16 March 2009)
Subject: Possible Political Unrest
This Warden Message is being issued to advise U.S. citizens of a heightened possibility of political unrest. The Embassy is especially concerned about the security of U.S. citizens in Sierra Leone during the current political climate, and urges Americans to avoid central Freetown, Sierra Leone, during the next 48 hours.
