Visit of Under Secretary of Agriculture Eric Bost

US Under Secretary of Agriculture, Eric Bost, and his entourage will visit Sierra Leone on November 17-20, 2003. During the visit, Mr. Bost will first meet with President Ahmad Tejan Kabbah and the Minister of Education, Dr. Alpha T. Wurie.  He will also visit with the Ministers of Health, Agriculture and Food Security, World Food Program Country Director, Louis Imbleau, and the head of the UNICEF Country Office Aboubacar Tall.

Mr. Bost and his delegation will also visit the provincial towns of Kailahun and Koindu in the Kailahun District. In Kailahun, he will visit the IMC Supplementary Feeding Center and will also be briefed on WFP’s School Feeding Program. In Koindu, he will dedicate the Kissi Bendi Secondary School, which was renovated with funds from USAID and will visit the USAID-built Koindu Market Center.
