As part of the Embassy’s recognition of African-American History Month, United States Ambassador June Carter Perry will present remarks on “African Influence in a Global Context” on Thursday, February 19 in conjunction with an initial, limited audience showing of “African-American Lives.” The film was written and produced by renowned Harvard University professor, Dr. Henry Louis Gates, Director of the W.E.B.
