Nonimmigrant Visas
Welcome to the Nonimmigrant Visa Unit of the U.S. Embassy in Freetown. We are pleased that you are interested in visiting the United States, and hope the information on this website will assist you in your preparations. Most travelers to the U.S. must obtain a visa. It is important that travelers plan ahead and begin the visa application process well in advance of his/her intended date of travel.
Sierra Leonean visitors traveling to the United States are required to be in possession of passports that are valid for six months beyond the period of their intended stay in the U.S.
